Something I wished had been made, but he was dead before dvds were around, was some of the acting of Charles Laughton, who was born would you believe at the end of the 19th century and died in the mid 60s .
He would have made a great job of some of the Dickensian characters, maybe Mr Micawber though that would have been too small a part.
As it was, I only got to see him in a couple of old British movies, Hobson's Choice was one and maybe as Captain Bligh was another.
He was of his time of course but he was a brilliant actor.
