Great Refracktion. At least we know UK won't allow shale gas development.
But how it is going to achieve energy security is the big elephant in the tiny room.

The current PM and his energy secretary are betting UK energy security and strategy on wind farm, in particular offshore wind farm.

But the problem for the PM and his minister is that recent report by Tony Blair Institute show that to achieve its Net Zero targets with current energy strategy the UK need to install and connect one the world largest wind farm once every 2 years from 2020 to 2050. Well, the world biggest wind farm is in Gansun onshore wind farm in China and it took China 10 years to complete it (not 2 years). For the UK it will probably be offshore and not onshore.
So Refracktion you and those opposed to shale gas need to provide a solution on how to build wind farms that fast to secure electricity supply for the coming years.
