lol Raider, Supersand or Smartsand was invented in 2011 and has never been shown to be commercially feasible. It's a product that does a good job in competition with another product that isn't quite as good but costs 1/10 as much. Supersand simply cannot compete and no matter how much you scale production in never will. Supersand kept the SER boffins in jobs funded by research grants so was worthwhile at that stage. But now it has been quietly shelved and we are now the funders. Let's just hope that membranes and supercap tech doesn't go the same way.
