Anyone who takes even the slightest look at history without some far left blinkered view will acknowledge the past 40 years have been the most prosperous in human history where the standard of living has improved dramatically for the vast majority of people. Even countries like Russia and China have improved standards of living as they've moved toward a more capitalist economy
