The Bank of England has made a shock one-and-a-half percentage point cut in UK interest rates to 3%, the lowest level since 1955.
Let's hope similar moves here from the RBA, it would certainly help get things moving again. In a system which appears set to be flooded with cash we should see some very cheap lending coming, albeit with stricter criteria to boot.
