Lies have been par for the course sadly throughout the whole extradition hearing. An abuse of process from the start. Extradition from the UK to US cannot be for political matters, yet here we are with the world’s greatest journalist facing the rest of his life buried alive in a US super max for humiliating The Empire only by letting us all know what it has written about itself.
No other journalist or web site had been prosecuted despite some publishing the same material first.
So much for the US First Amendment and all the precedents around “prior restraint”. So much our much-vaunted Western “Values” and “Democracy”.
So much for all the useless mainstream journalists.
