discredited 'Gasland' buffin? only in the eyes of pro-gas groups. You could criticise certain aspects of Gasland I agree, but they pale into insignificance when compared with the snakeoil handed out by the gas industries Gasland attempts to expose.
also there have been 'blindingly obvious' problems with fracking already - you conveniently choose to ignore them.
"In any case Dart's future etc. etc..." you're right it won't. It will be decided by greedy gas companies and politicians who will be doing their utmost to deceive the people in pursuit of relatively short term non-renewable profit.
remember - once they've drilled and the gas is exhausted in one location - and shale gas wells have a very high rate of decay, the carpetbaggers move on leaving the people to live with and clean up their mess.
