I've heard of Centrelink using FiTs to vary pensions but the ATO has thus far stayed out of the household FiT market. Business FiTs could/should be another matter.

As for CFU and FiTs one of the first things to sort out is who owns the installed fuel cell. In the case of BlueGens it seems utilities will own them so wouldn't the utility have first dibs on any FiTs?

Hopefully some commonsense will prevail. A mix of a price for installed capacity and a price for exported power - like the UK (which is 10p and 3p/kWhr from memory) - strikes me as the best to hope for. A FiT regime similar to the Oz household PVs is lunacy, though it sure cuts the bills thankyou very much.
