I don't see ICE dying yet, however I believe that in order to meet the emissions required by the EU there are going to be a mix of electric and electric hybrid. There is no good reason why such efficient cars cannot be produced now that the myth of diesel being environmentally friendly is laid to rest. As before Australian shareholders are vastly underestimating Lithium rarity and demand. For instance in the US there is hardly any production of lithium. Aussie investors are all stuck in the housing market which is a huge bubble and hence our stock markets, innovation and business growth is at a standstill while other nations are willing to fund innovative start ups. It is a real shame that successive governments have created policies that have missallocated resources to unproductive housing.
