    The only reason those roads are piled up with traffic is that the roads wern't cleared by snowploughs quickly enough. Its obvious looking at the images that the Poms just don't have the capacity to deal with what any where else in the northern hemisphere would be a minor snow storm. There's no sand on the roads, no de-icing fluids sprayed from tankers. I am currently in North America. Yesterday there was a snow storm and it was -13 degrees C. When I got up in the morning all the roads including remote county roads were ploughed and sanded. Critical intersections were sprayed with de-icing fluid. Traffic was normal. Its easy to blame the weather. Actually its incompetence.
