I think you could be right DS, trading volumes have been quite high over the last 2 weeks and there does seem to buy more buys than sells.
It looks like the brokers are trying to make people sell as I have noticed is the Bid/Ask spread is shorter. We're seeing more 6.5/6.6p or 6.45/6.55p type spreads rather than the 6.25/6.75p or 6/6.5p that I have seen previously.
If the selling on ASX dries up again, UK brokers are stuffed when the good news hits.
