I've cashed out of AGS after being a holder for the last 1 year, after the recent JORC result. Now looking for my next uranium investment...after doing lots of research, I've pretty much narrowed down to 2 companies, MTN and UKL
currently UKL has a market cap of AUD$100 million (84 million shares) hence market cap/lb resource is about A$16/lb,
MTN is at about A$3/lb,
comparatively, AGS is now about $70/lb with perhaps room to improve to $25/lb, but obviously so has UKL and MTN...(hence i sold AGS)
I like UKL because of it's higher grades, possibilty of ISL, no sovereign risk, good exploration potential, and most of all imminent production in the next 2 years! But MTN also looks very attractive given it's excellent value. However it's going to an underground mine, at high cost and possibly enviromental issues regarding mining, and not producing till 2011....
What are your thoughts regardings the pros and cons of each?
I'm still waiting for a good time to get in though, seeing that UKL has run hard from 40cents to $1.25 in the last 4 months...
