@Leapzig thanks for having recovered some manners - I never watch any Olympics, maybe just an individual sport - I used to love ice-scating . . . Why don't you visit Russia? probably not a good idea right now . . .
I have a lot of time for Russia's past culture, their singers, musicians (and music!), dancers - some of whom defected to the West. Love their folk music, too, and I believe what is going on now is simply one single man's obsession/ambition, who has control over a dependent clique from his old secret service days. The ordinary Russian is no different to us in the West, and wants to live his/her life in peace, but they have always been burdened with autocratic - or worse - governments. Taurisk
