As you say Stalin was responsible for atrocities. His secret police were responsible for the deaths of millions.

The authorities confiscated the farmers grain and the farmers starved not just in the Ukraine but wherever they could get grain and export it for western currency.

The justification was doing thinks in the interest of the people and so basic freedoms were abolished by the use of armed thugs.

In many countries a similar thing is happening now. The authorities are exercising their control no matter what the cost

The Russian people have got did of communism and Putin stopped the rape of Russia by capitalist oligarchs so now the people in Russia are much better off; in contast the oligarchs in the Ukraine are still in control and the people there have the lowest standard of living in Europe.

Rather than Stalin's communist thugs getting rid of kulaks we see Bandera worshipping thugs getting rid of ethnic roussians.

Well Russia has had enough. The west setup the thugs and Russia will take them down.
