I would hardly describe it nice and smooth. There is little doubt that the mighty Russian army has been bogged down by a much inferior( in numbers) force . I thought at the beginning it would take Russia three days to defeat the Ukraine and maybe another two days to mop up which could be followed by a guerrilla war. Its now going on a week and they have failed in their assasination attempt on the Ukrainian leader , the sabotage teams in kyiv seem to have been tracked down and eliminated . A major attack column is close to stalled They have succeded in surrounding some cities which should have been captured by now and they face the very real possibility of a MINI STALINGRAD in Kyiv
