If this USA assesment is correct. Then there has either been the biggest foul up by Russian staff officers in planning or the Ukranian ability to disrupt resupply columns is still potent.

There's been a lot of reports that Russian military progress — including that massive convoy outside Kyiv — has slowed.

An unnamed senior US defence official told the Associated Press the US had seen Russian military columns literally run out of fuel and, in some places, they were running out of food.

They said that morale among Russian troops was suffering as a result.

But that same official pointed out that Russia still had a significant amount of combat power that hasn't been tapped:

"They will regroup, they will adjust, they will change their tactics.”
