so precision isn't too hot, get around 2008.85+-, or start of November.
Should give the highest volatility, but on checking VIX, get a local min around there:

Looking at daily market volatility: (High-Low)/(HL_Av), get on fitting Gauss to this: Center point pretty much on the right spot:
Do still get bit of a lull at that center as well.
