it really nice to have a well put contrary opinion rather than the down ramping nonsense that goes on on some threads.
firstly the copper chart you have shown points to the price hikes leading up to may this year. and says peak demand. if you match this chart up to the stock piles you will see the stockpiles bottomed in mid 2005 and therefore stockpiles have been increasing since then. the price of copper peaked almost 1 year after the stock piles bottomed. therefore demand had slowed or supply increased well before price started to react and retrace.
if this applies to zinc then we havent even started to scratch the surface of the potential for max zinc price.
could you comment please?
