No. That was a purely theoretical exercise. Neither can you use the whole car surface efficiently for solar nor do you have 8h of optimal conditions. Covered parking won't work either.
At current solar technology this is no winning idea yet. Many years ago the Audi A8 had a solar roof that would power a small ventilator to cool the car a little while parked in the sun. That gives you an idea of how much energy you can efficiently harvest on a car roof.
