this is true, but that is only if there is a more favourable counter bid.

bhp have also stated that the $1.30 was a final offer.
so if it gets voted down, thats not a counter bid, hence bhp will not increase its offer.
at least thats what they have said.

this is just my interpretation of the deal.

im no longer a holder, but i am very interested in the outcome of this. i was a holder for 3 yrs...

i hope all holders sticking it out are rewarded except for the stink they call management.
