this is just market pshycology.

Your have to put yourself in the mind of the skitish.

Their porfolio is now in the red, they are nervous, and cant see the wood through the trees, and cant afford to hold.

So, they liquidate their portfolio, and that means selling good stocks to cover bad ones.

There are plenty of good stocks who get sold down when the market is down.

I sold UMC a fornight ago, seeing this coming, and needing to pay a tax bill.

You just have to tough it out, for the return to positive sentiment.

We need to find the bottom and drift along for a bit.

Beats me why we have to outdo all the yanks.

XAO down 100 pts etc, when its the US had an evenish day.

Hard to know whats moving it, offshore holders selling aus stocks to cover o/s positions?

Grateful i own MAK, holding the rest who are looking very sad, no fault to themselves.
