Does this not include maintaining top price for shareholders equity?
If UMC's price were to increase to $4.00/share(which appears to be conservative),Thundelarra's share price should increase by 33cents/share to $0.81 each share based on today's close of $0.48.
At $0.81 share,directors who were given 1million options @ exercise price of 50cents would be set to gain $310,000 over and above their salary.
When these options are taken up,the rest of the shareholders will find their value diluted by approx 4%.
As directors have no control over UMC's price,is this acting in the best interests of shareholders?
