Another way of looking at this is that the higher the UMC SP the less ALL of THX's other assets are worth to the point where they're well into negative equity.

So is this merely encouraging a back door effort by an outside party?
Ok, what if, lets say, there is a TO of THX? By UMC.

Aside from the obvious reason wrt protecting the UMC stake THX holds, what about the widening relative gap in valuations as UMC appreciates?
Could it be done utilizing a (rapidly rising) UMC all scrip bid?
