hangovers fine... worked long into the dark.. basically worked my way thru it.

There are multiple ways of locking a stock down... offscreen or simply a well placed rumour etc etc
Either way tracking UMC vs THX, the valuation ratio has widened appreciably and no I dont subscribe to the theory that the minnows buyers strike is responsible. UMC is proof positive of that.. and everyone understands the connection between UMC and THX.. both Co.'s have made much of it.

There is I believe something else.
