There have been many two-bob companies that have grown to be huge...right through small to mid cap & of course your RIO's & BHP's all started as tiny two-bit companies (were'nt taken out)...

Yes, what u wrote could happen, why it could've happened to RIO a year or 2 back...but that's really a 'glass is half empty' outlook, living in fear that this will be taken out. IF it does it does, but I definately won't be selling my holdings on a possibility that might never happen. The possible upside is just too inviting!!!
