I know the specific resolution still needs to be passed but this gives confidence that it will and that foreign military is allowed to protect shipping.
12. Encourages Member States whose naval vessels and military aircraft
operate in international waters and airspace adjacent to the coast of Somalia to be
vigilant to any incidents of piracy therein and to take appropriate action to protect
merchant shipping, in particular the transportation of humanitarian aid, against any
such act, in line with relevant international law, and welcomes the contribution made
by France to protect the World Food Programme naval convoys and the support now
provided by Denmark to this end;
