Thought this article gave some interesting background to the recent resolution. Settling your citizens in occupied territoy is against the Geneva convention. Not really seeing the room for debate.

If a Palestinian State with no defence force plus UN presence is not acceptable to Israel, then what is?

Fifty year is a hell of a long time to occupy, harshly subdue a foreign population and settle on their land in increasing numbers.

I think the Israelis who fear what this half century of brutal occupation is doing to them and their State are right. Never mind what it has done to those under occupation for 50 years.

Wouldn't trust the UN.
The clowns appionted Saudia Arabia a seat on the human rights council and now they have a biased and obsessive focus on Israel.
The UN's favour can be purcased, they have no credibility
