THE United Nations has voted overwhelmingly to recognise a Palestinian state; with a more than two-thirds majority of the 193-member world body - a vote of 138-9, with 41 abstentions. Can you believe institution like UN was ignoring all these time voice of 138 of 193 members?
Now, my hats off to UN and its fundamentals. Only requires to be changed is setup of Security Councils 5 permanent mambers and their right to veto, imho.
I am amazed with the statement made by Israeli PM "UN can't break the 4000-year-old bond between the people of Israel and the land of Israel. "What about Palestinian People's bond of 2000 years with their land? Israel must recognise Palestinian State vacating territories occupied in 1967 war.
