Total ASIC hypocrisy. The ASX is just the medium for the shenanigans that go on daily by brokers on behalf of institutions, large investors and hedge funds.
ASIC would not dare to investigate these practices because it would open a can of worms and be virtually impossible to explain to the general public (and retail investors) - other than of course highlighting that widespread manipulation is a daily occurrence on the ASX and on stock markets in general.
Expect this comment may be censured as irrelevant or unsubstantiated nonsense by HC, i.e. lets not disturb the powers that be...
