Between 15 January and 5 February, ING sold 23.9 million IOF units at an average price of 36.7 cents and realised 8.8 million dollars. This selloff represents more than 20% of their holdings.

Between 13 and 19 February, ING bought 29.46 million units at an average price of 28.5 cents and spent 8.4 million dollars.

Result - they own 5.5 million more shares and have 0.4 million dollars more than they started with.

And while this industrious market manipulation was going on, ING are able to operate based upon the following undisclosed inside information:

operating performance in the december half
    proposed property valuation write-downs
    outcome of Dec/Jan capital raising

And while they were doing this industrial-scale insider trading, they were telling ASX they had no idea what was causing price volatility.

    Choice.
