Would private investors buy into an industry in which they burnt their fingers or which is suddenly less profitable than before. Highly unlikely. Can the government finance the aged care and healthcare areas without private investors. Highly unlikely. Big gamblers are currently bashing the industry to draw some blood unfortunately private money is necessary to keep on going. So don't bash it to hard. IMO
