Has anyone given any thought to the Telstra board actually being very calculated and strategic? Telstra never seems to be too far of the mark in their forecasts. What if for example there is a real commercial reason for not selling Infraco just yet and what if they knew all along they wanted to reduce staff as efficiencies and new technologies allow them to do so? Its almost like the revenue falls in certain areas of Telstra was an excuse for the staff cuts. Your telling me that they didn't see this from happening? The company has already started looking at next FY. These guys seem very strategic to me and have been and continue to be thinking ahead even while revenues are starting to increase.

Has anyone put any thought as to what would happen if one of the other carriers goes to the ground and how this would benefit telstra?
