Tend to agree trader. That's about the 5th or 6th reference by various malcontents to VB as an "ex-barmaid". It's derogatory language, from what you say, it's misleading, and in any case, people are allowed to rise up and evolve in life, so good on someone who has done that.
I don't know much about her, and I think the performance of TLS is appalling ... but I doubt it is has been her fault.
P.S. I also felt that the 'Top-hat' restructure which almost immediately followed VB's arrival was one of the greatest loads of palava deserving of the 2022 bollocks award for corporate double-speak ... but I doubt it was devised by her.
