Market Cap at peak of 8.9c from five days ago- $16m
Market Cap at day peak today (6.3c)- $11.3m
Market Cap at low today (4.8c)- $8.6m
Aside from the fact that a cap of $8.6m for a company with 1m ounces of gold is completely absurd it is imo worth noting that such a number is nearly half of the peak reached just 5 days ago.
It is also significantly lower than the market cap at the price that the company both opened and closed at today.
The only reasonable conclusion to draw imo is that this is being heavily manipulated, possibly by a party wishing to keep the price down to accumulate or to gain access to a cheap placement.
While I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to add to my shareholdings at both 5.2 and 4.8c today this kind of manipulation is ultimately something that should be closely watched by regulators.
I am looking forward to a day when this stock can run on its merits without the tactics that holders have seen in the last week that has killed the run and brought the price to absurd intra day levels.
