Not sure you’re covering all possibilities there. Selling just because you believe the price won’t go up will lead your portfolio into a garbled mess of high turnover, frequent trading and brokerage eating away at your returns . That’s not my cup of tea.

I still own because I can’t recoup much if I sell now - not enough to be useful or material, and I don’t need the loss for tax purposes either. The day I do, this dog will be out unless there is newsflow that can convince me otherwise. Even if said developments arrive, I am not going to pat myself on the back thinking I am some genius with great foresight - I would have just got plain lucky.
