I dunno.
China dumps US dollars, US dollars dive in value, US consumers can't buy as many Chinese goods (or anyone else's).
US dollar going lower means US manufactured products are more competitive on international markets. US manufacturers get more sales, hire more workers, spend more on infrastructure.
The only danger there is a labour shortage which pushes up wages, pushes up interest rates, and then it becomes more attractive to invest in the US so US dollars rise.
To me, it seems an empty threat from the Chinese.
