They have no reason to assimilate. Take gladys liu fought for her seat in mandarin or cantonese (I can't remember which), possibly cantonese given her H.K. connection. Whatever, her opponent did the same and they were catering to a majority asian electorate in Melbourne. Would love to see scomo do the same in china; they'd boot his 'happy clappy' backside out of that country.
Given that they've reached this level without any opposition, can you see why the conspiracy is real; there is no theory.
