This is an interesting point to discuss:

2) The choke game.They restricted the IP30 flows at the start through smaller chokes. Claim it’s forbetter EUR. But in reality? Shouldn't they mention that it 1) boosts ending flowrates, AND 2) reduces the decline rate — and as a result can make comparisons to other shaleproduction curves look better than they are. Will they play the same game withIP90? Watch closely.
Please point out where TBN have claimed to have "restricted the IP30 flow rates though smaller chokes for better EUR." I would be interested in reading further on this.

IMO opinion it is a necessary test for an optimized production strategy at wellhead.
Usually early money is good money and that means you should produce the highest possible production rate at the beginning. But in the case the reservoir is sensitive to too high production rates, to too high flow velocities, to a too big delta for the pressure etc. you have to adapt the production rate. And in such a case the technically and commercially optimized production rate is not the maximum possible production rate.

I think TBN is testing this out at the moment. Everything all right IMO.
