Yes i would be interested to see how this works as well if they have to purchase 75 million shares they will be doing there best to drive the share price down over the next 20 days to get the best price how do they do this.
Possibly they drop large quantities onto the market at points to push the share price down when it recovers bam hit it down again. If they do this time and time again it would have to drive the price down.
However if there are some switched on funds they will be buying as much as they can as they know what UBS are up to and so the game could go against UBSs. Also larger shareholders are going to want to keep the price as high as possible so UBS have to cough up more money.
Overall i cant see how they can manipulate the price but im sure they will try. I would appreciate if anyone has any thoughts on this?
