    Of course you would never be looking at overhead street signs, cars the go past, the scenery,

    your street directory or gps, eat a burger, have a drink, smoke,

    turn to look at the kids in the back seat,

    fiddle with your radio or c.d. player?

    Damn sight more dangerous using a mobile phone, especially to text,

    than what it is for a cop to glance at a driver.

    I can spot people on the phone from many metres away.

    Usually driving a bit slower than the flow of traffic, delayed reaction at traffic lights,

    car tends to wander/drift a little, and their head constantly moves like a 'noddy dog'.

    Agree with your comment about motor bikes 'lane splitting',

    and it should be heavily penalised.

    Add not using indicators when lane changing,

    and overtaking you, then cutting across in front of you,

    (I've had to brake heavily, many a time), and going up an off ramp.

    Enough idiot drivers out there now, then put a phone in

    their hand into the bargain.
