Yes, seen them on the Mitchell already - pulling up people. Look I don't mind much, having been rear-ended by some dumb twit texting - I could see her in my rear-view mirror before she hit - I knew it was coming. Problem was, I was driving a leased Jeep at the time....she was in a little Kia....I had a couple scratches on the bumper...she had a front end semi-demolished....in a company car. I like the concept of what the police are doing, and would like to see them expand it to the motorcycle butt-wipes who are doing 80 plus between lanes when the traffic is doing 20....grab those A-holes.....They make changing lanes a real hazard - moving too fast to see in the mirror, or a quick glance over the shoulder. But have to agree about break-ins. We had our house done years ago....the RAC beat the cops by over an hour....and then gave me a lecture about security....I mentioned poor policing and maybe more time patrolling - but it didn't have any impact....they just ignored it....and continued the drone routine they give a dozen times a day.....locks on windows and doors...which we had...and they already knew, the crim(s) busted thru the glass on the locked sliding door and came in thru it.
Now we have a dog that goes ballistic anytime the house is approached - pretty effective. Been a couple lame attempts from the front - but no luck for the druggie (may his next dose be fatal - that is my fervent hope)....and one car attempt - but no luck either - apart from door damage. But a good watch-dog is the best. I have stickers all over the exterior about how items have been marked, micro-marked, etc....but these semi-humans...'walkers'...are still too stupid...or maybe they just can't read. But a good observant territorial dog is better than just about anything for securing your house.
And I hope the cops expand on their unmarked bikes and cars....I see jerk-offs every day texting and talking on mobiles....not to mention the fools changing lanes without signals, tailgating, the ridiculous aggro that would get them a .45 in the head in the US from drivers who wouldn't put up with it.....If you ever drive in the US you will be impressed with how wonderful the drivers are....they know how to merge, they always give way when you want to change lanes...keep proper distances....just drive so much better. That's because if you do something stupid - they just may have a Glock in the glovebox for your final driving lesson....I'd like to see the average idiot on the Mitchell and Kwinana....doing his stupid sh!t over there.
