All govts are a burden. 54% of the price of fuel is tax. GST is 10% on top of an already taxed system. The tax act is a disgrace. The govt is top-heavy, inefficient and over-regulating. The world is buckling under govt interference and overreach. All the debt, perks and stupid programs need to end. Australia is acting like Argentina with a bunch of spend mad incompetents pandering to minorities for votes while the cost of living just keeps rising. State govt and councils are all adding to the cost of living. It is one thing to have a job, but the country is better off when they are gainfully employed as opposed to stuffed in unionised govt buildings. Its costing the country tens of billions pa in waste.
