I wouldn't get too carried away with MLX reopening...

    I wouldn't get too carried away with MLX reopening Renison.....
    Was in Tassie in early Jan and just happened to drive past the Renison mine, so as a share holder thought I better have a look.
    Completely shut up and no-one in sight!!!
    If the mine is on hold - maintenance is at a minimum!

    What confuses me is that if they shut it previously because the tin price fell below (cant exactly remember what the price was) say 9,000 because it wasn't economical - and now the price is above 13k and hasn't been below 11k in along time - you would think they would be falling over themselves to get it reopened.

    That tells me there is something else fundamentally that is affecting the reopening of the mine - whether its a operating costs issue - dont know
