Keep in mind LittleT that the work was "in progress" at the time of the deal, and I agree with you that as far as we all knew no problems were expected, but it is a loose end .... as in very important as a risk factor ... and surely it is good manners to let the people know the outcome who are paying for it and carrying the financial risk.
