i did say on the gbe thread that china is desperate to invest in Hree projects, alk, ntu, cmy, now gbe and there are other exposures. they appear to be using cmi and ece and the likes as portals to do so. It remains to be seen if the investments are to mothball resources, or whether they are desperate to obtain reserves of Hree due to a calculated internal shortage of the rarer rees. my opinion is the later is likely.
