Apollo may want to buy this out by the end of the year, but I don't see it happening that soon or that easy. Why would HFA/LHP sell when there is only upside now? This is a scalable business and surface is only being scratched. What happens if AUM doubles or triples form this point? It sounds like allot but I think Apollo has the ability to bring in some heavy hitters, we aren't talking HNW investors here, we are talking massive institutions and pensions, combine that with a solid, not great but just solid year of performance and AUM will increase substantially.

Interesting things are happening no doubht. I still find the hiring of Goldman Sach's former head of Asset Management the same week that the HFA deal was announced back in late november/early december to be very interesting as well.

However, this thing is so under the radar I could see AUM going to $10B and this stock not moving much.
