What were they thinking?

No planning that their actions would take years to re-permit.

The building of a large ROM pad in TSF3 dam which destroyed the dams usefulness for full capacity, the walls of this dam were supposed to be lifted! They could have / should have kept mining.

There appears no winners here, just a trail of destruction whilst the people who caused this disaster are still employed except the CEO ousted at the AGM.

These people have no or little investment in the company, they can still earn their pay whilst causing suffering to there workforce, old and new investors.

It is plainly obvious they had no clue of the consequences of their actions, their actions could only be described as belligerent, they should have sought advice from experts.

I would say there is only one person who could have gotton RED 5 out of this mess early on in the calamity, no need to say anymore, game over for RED 5 / GRC.
