27% debt level is far from "massive" - and not all debt is bad debt. they have used the money wisely on acquiring business that will produce a positive return. Broardsward was a fantastic strategic move that complements there existing businesses. Forget the PE, why forget the PE....?? this is an indication of how the company is priced relative to the earnings per share.
I respect your opinion, but if you think SKE is valued at between 80 cents and $1.50 you know little about balance sheets.
