Oil went up because of the war… we NEED oil. We don’t need gold. Gold is sitting high and don’t get me wrong I have a RRL but the likes of oil at the moment is HOT. Going forward if we don’t have a WW3…. Copper nickel lithium the renewables will leave gold in the rear view mirror when this USSR crap boils over.
Gold will fair well if America don’t tame their inflation rates.
