I understand it's a section 10 issue which is about cultural heritage. After the final cultural objections to the state independent assessment and last minute issues (i.e objecting just prior to closure with no warning) then the government must be getting a bit sick of it. It appears that trees are cultural objects, I suppose that's to be expected with the government sponsored Environmental Defender Office putting up "singing whales" (all down in Antarctica right now) and crocodile men/rainbow serpents to stop progress.
